Glamdring From the story The Hobbit (J.R.R. Tolkein). Glamdring was found by Bilbo and the troup in a Troll's horde, along with Orcrist and Sting. Gandalf the Grey, Noblest of Istari Wizards, claimed Glamdring; while Thorin claimed Orcrist, and Bilbo was given Sting. Elrond of Rivendell translated the Cirth engravings: The Guard bears the name "Glamdring". The blade - "Foe Hammer". Elrond informs them that these swords belonged to the High Elves of the West, and were made in Gondolin for the Goblin Wars. A replica of the One Ring adorns the grip to remind the bearer of the Evil he is sworn to fight.
