The Master Sword he will then retrieve,
keeping the Knights' line true.

While none living possess the knowledge of this sword's true origin in all of Hyrule, the Blade of Evil's Bane is said to possess the spirit of an original servant of the Goddess.

When evil engulfs the land completely and all hope is nearly lost, a hero will come. Only he will be able to claim this mighty blade. Facing many trials to earn passage to the sword's resting place and embodying a true balance of Power, Courage and Wisdom, this hero will take up the Master Sword. With it in hand, he shall face the scourge of the land. No evil may touch this blade of purity and with it, the hero shall once again bring peace to the land, banishing the evil from whence it came.

Restoring the blade to its resting place once again the hero will. For when evil again consumes the kingdom, the blade shall be there, waiting to be called upon once more.
