Fable Blades Swords on Facebook

Sword of Llyweilun

(Longsword Training Blunt)

"The wood elf has fought all over the known world, following many banners into battle. Over the years the sword, a gift from his sister, has become more than a mere weapon - it has turned into a part of his very soul. Traveling alongside a dark elf cleric has brought him more than once to the thin line between good
and evil. The blade was always there with him, sometimes taking life, sometimes protecting it. His current whereabouts and that of the sword are unknown."

Below you can see the transition to the tang. Note the rounded transition at the shoulder. Avoiding a sharp transition minimises opportunities for cracks to develop under heavy use. 2mm edges with rounded corners were requested for 'safer' sparring. Construction via a recessed nut in the pommel allows for disassembly for inspection and maintenence.
